Alan Davidson and Paul Rae achieve Master's successes
Two Pitlochry Weightlifting club members won titles at the U.K. Masters Open on saturday at Kilwinning, Ayrshire. Alan Davidson won his fifth consecutive UK title by triumphing in the 77kg (45 to 49 years) class. Alan snatched 82kg and clean & jerked 103kg for a 185kg total which also qualifies him for next years World Masters. Paul Rae won his first UK title by taking gold in the 94kg (35 to 39 years) class. Paul snatched 104kg and jerked 120kg for a 224kg total which qualifies him for next years British Masters in Lilleshall, England in March.
