WELCOME

to my website.    My work, which spans a period of about sixty years, is a mix of art and crafts, and wildlife photography - mainly of the varied species of lovely birds that come regularly to feed in my garden, particularly during the extremely cold weather we are at present experiencing.  I attended my first art evening class when I was fifteen - I am now in my late seventies and still as keen as ever, though rather slower wielding a paintbrush now!  I have also, over the years, in my spare time, studied various other art forms and crafts including stained glass, painting on glass, card making both with dried flowers from my garden, or of my artwork, and tapestries based on my artwork, all of which I will include on my site as it progresses.  A number of the poems, which tie in with the paintings or photography, have been published in various anthologies.  All the work  is copyright, and for sale.  Fifty percent of sold work goes to charity.  My e-mail address is - mari-gold2010@hotmail.co.uk, or you can leave a message in the Guestbook if you wish to contact me.
