This year our Conference focuses on
Moving beyond Technique
We are excited to be able to offer a really strong set of speakers from within the physiotherapy profession:
- a day with Georgie Oldfield MCSP specialist in the Sarno technique and founder of the SIRPA Recovery Programme - offering positive outcomes in the management of chronic conditions including pain www.georgieoldfield.com
- a day with Stuart Robertson MCSP, expert in myofascial release, yoga and breathwork as aids to self-care. Wellbeing and mindfulness stratigies for health professionals - the science of yoga, mindfulness and physiotherapy combined. Includes an introduction to laughter yoga www.1-2-1yogatherapy.co.uk
- a half day with Fiona Russell MCSP combining the physical quality of gyrokinesis movements with the energetic experience and fun of bioenergetic meditation 'shaking' www.fizziofocus.com
- treatment swaps in the evenings as desired
- good company, peer support and the warmth of ACPEM networking throughout the conference
- ACPEM AGM - the best way to get the most from your professional network is to come and join the team however as we only have 8-10 committee places there is no obligation :-)
