INTRODUCTION

Hello, and welcome. My name is Ashley Ford. I am a qualified proofreader and copy editor, holding a Diploma in Professional Proofreading and Editing,  with experience of both blind reading and reading against copy. I can supply original & corrected proofs of work I have undertaken, or am willing to undertake any test set by a potential client.

I obtained grade "A" in A level English, and have practical experience in writing newsletters and funding reports, as well as producing high-quality work within strict time constraints. I have a basic knowledge of HTML formatting, and an understanding of the magazine journalism market.

My specialist subjects are; Goth subculture, tattoos, including history and cultural association, and canine behaviour.  In the latter respect, I have worked with rescue dogs with behavioural problems, with training and socialisation groups, and have trained individual dogs from puppyhood. I am happy to assist with research in these subject areas.
