PENRHIWLLAN SHORT MAT BOWLS

        Located in the centre of the Ceredigion village of Penrhiwllan the club meets in the Neuadd Penrhiwllan Hall on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday afternoons from August to the following June. This is a game for anyone aged 9 to 90, so if you wish to sample the challenging, frustrating (sometimes) and rewarding aspects of this sport you are invited to join us at 6.30pm  on Tuesdays and 2.00pm on Wednesdays in the hall to try it out. Learn to play with qualified coaches on hand to guide you through the playing techniques, rules and etiquette of the game. All you need to begin with are a pair of flat soled shoes as we can supply all the other equipment needed to help get you started. To find us please click on the map on the right.

As a club offering local facilities we are looking to increase our membership especially from the younger generation and therefore have a child protection policy in place that can be reviewed by anyone wishing to do so and can be found by clicking on the Welsh or English version.

We are a mixed club with some 30+ members at present and are represented by two teams in the Cardiganshire Short Mat Bowls League, although participation is entirely voluntary.
