This feisty game didn't take long to get going with Raigmore attacking from the outset and PDG struggling at first to get a hold of the ball.  The first goal appeared when Raigmore broke down the right hand side and crossed for their striker to head home.  The lead didn't last too long though as Nathan McLaughlan broke from the back playing a one-two with Brown and driving a shot across the keeper from 18 yards to level the score.  The possession began to even out but a quick break from Raigmore was not cleared by McLaughlan and a striker arrived at the back post to score.

After half time the game swung from end to end with breaks and chances at both ends.  The Choppers levelled after Brian Cooke played a one-two, again with Brown and slotted home from inside the box but it wasn't long before Raigmore regained their lead and then extended it.  Tempers were beginning to fray, with free kicks aplenty and Raigmore struck a final time before the end.
