PDG Choppers started this match with a number of injuries and absentees, Paul Ansell, Jamie Mackenzie, Neale Brown, Tony O'Rourke and Ryan Fraser all unavailable or injured.  A couple of players were playing with knocks and some feeling ill but that is still no excuse for the manner in which we played.  Disorganised, lacking conviction and poor basic skills and discipline sum up a poor performance.  During the first half the little possession we had was squandered away far too easily with long balls and a lack of options to those with the ball.  The few shots on goal were made to look easy by the keeper.  In defence we lacked depth and were split by the same pass on numerous occasions, leading to two goals, the first however came from a corner leaving us 3-0 down at half time with three bookings, the full Macleod contingent.

A better effort in the second half with more possession was still below par and not at the standard at which PDG choppers set last season.  Matthew Riggs, the trialist and Scott Gardner all came on, Cooke, Maclellan and B. Macleod going off.  The best chance of the match for the Choppers fell to Scot Gardner but was squandered.  The only other chance of note was a David Stephens shot which was parried then collected on the line.  In the latter stages of the game the play was wide open with Raigmore having more chances, one of which they took.  In the final minutes Nathan McLaughlan sliced a shot on the edge of the box wasting a good opportunity.
