Welcome to Pairc Mholach

Situated on the west coast of Colonsay on Drumclach croft above Port Mor the cottage has  3 bedrooms sleeps 6-8 people and has a magnificent views to the Atlantic. It is about 400m from the main road and access is through the croft by way of a track. The house was completed in May 2002, built along traditional lines with a slate roof  and is fully equipped to modern standards with oil central heating  and  a wood-burning stove.

Surrounds

The cottage lies at the base of the hill close to the ancient fort of Dun Meadhonach. It has an enclosed garden with lawn and parking/turning area suitable for 2 cars. There is a shed in the garden suitable for storage of bicycles outdoor equipment etc..There is a patio area on the west side of the house. The house has disability access

Accomodation:

Downstairs -Utility room - with washing machine, sink, freezer and airing cupboard.

                  Kitchen - a large high ceilinged kitchen with patio-window and dining table. Gas hob with electric oven/grill, dishwasher,  fridge and microwave. Immersion heater

                  Living room - expansive oak floored room with 3 sofas and patio-window. It has a multi-fuel stove suitable for both wood and coal, CD player and open stair-way. There is Free-sat TV, telephone and Wi-Fi

                  Downstairs Bedroom – 2 sets of bunk beds.1 of these is a sofa bed suitable for adults

                 Shower-room – Electric shower,wc and washbasin

Upstairs

                 Bedroom 1. - Double bed, built in wardrobe

                 Bedroom 2. -2 single beds

                 Bathroom- bath, wc and washbasin.

                 Study area with work surface and toy box.

Duvets and Pillows are in all rooms but please note we do not provide bed linen 

Dogs are welcome but please keep confined to kitchen and utility rooms 

The cottage is surrounded by fields with livestock and dogs should be kept under control, the garden area is enclosed
