Welcome to OnTime Group

 

OnTime Group was founded by the present chairman Glen Brown back in 2008 starting out as AmberTravelGroup, The company started off providing regular bus services to the commuters of Leeds. This operation proved succesfull and was the catalyst for the start of other companies within the group. After a staff consultation in Nov 08 to reflect the direction the company was going in AmberTravelGroup was renamed Countrywide Group.

Countrywide Group had grown to have a fleet of over  1000 buses and operated in both the local bus sector and also provided express coach services. It had also been sucessful in winning a number of tenders to operate routes in London and also won the Transpennine Express franchise which was renamed XPennineXpress.

In mid 2009 Countrywide Group further changed its name to it's present incarnation OnTime Group as it was just about to merge with Freedom Buses Group, This enlarged group also brought on to the board of directors Robert Taylor the former chairman of Freedom Buses, His role is now Director of Scotland,Rail and Marine Operations,
