ON ANY MONDAY............. 

On Any Sunday – an iconic documentary film starring Steve McQueen racing dirt bikes across America and beyond. This website is unlikely to be iconic, although it may mention Steve and his stunt double Bud Ekins from time to time. Also, Monday is quite close to Sunday and it is mostly about motorcycles - a passion the people in here share with Steve McQueen, Hollywood’s best known petrolhead.

Monday night for us revolves around a shed. Within the walls of the shed various mechanical devices, mostly old motorcycles are dismantled, renovated, re-engineered, assembled and made to operate as they should. Authentic is the byword; the bikes are not restored to concours condition, most have retained as many of the original parts as possible and the patina of age is revered. This is not a strict rule as period modifications are taken into account and what the owners made of these bikes at the time.

This is not a diary although it does recount events, and it is not meant to be laddish although we do accept that it might come across as that. We are sure there are many people out there that share our hobby and those that delve into this site will instantly recognise what we do, the problems we come against, and our sometimes radical and makeshift methods to solve those problems!
