OdysseyExpress have announced today (06/09/09) that is has placed an order for 14 Brand New Plaxton Panther Tri-Axle Coaches.

These coaches will join examples of the same type for use on service 900 (Glasgow - Edinburgh). All will come with Leather Seating, Wi-Fi, Air-conditioning, and Reclining seats.

This order somes about with the acquisition of OnTime Groups sell off of their 50% share in the 900 Route, and Odyssey wishing to standardise on one type of coach for this very busy corridor.

Chris Cuthill, Managing Director of OdysseyGroupTravel says "We are very pleased to be announing this order. We have invested a lot of money on new buses and coaches within the Group, and we feel that this corridor deserves these High Spec Coaches"

The Coaches expect to enter service during the end of 2009.
