To block your number from being displayed temporarily for a specific call:
Dial 141 before the number you wish to call.
For the Police Dial: 141 101
The words "Private," "Anonymous," or some other indicators will appear on the recipient's phone instead of your mobile number.
To call the POLICE (emergency): 999
to withhold your number and be anonymous dial: 141 999
To call the POLICE (other issues): 101
to withhold your number and be anonymous dial: 141 101
