Club hosted two games-15mm ACW and a Warhammer 40K challenge.

The ACW game was action packed with lots of casualties in both sides and dice rolls let some of the players down at times but thats the luck of the dice for you. Rules used where Johnny Reb and a rematch has been organised for the next club meeting on Tuesday 15th December 2009.

The 40K challenge was 2000 points of Imperial Guard supported by a large artillery battery versus three space marine armies with various types of support including Dreadnoughts and a mighty Land Raider Crusader. The game was quite bloody with the Imperial Guard Artillery  taking a heavy toll on the attacking Space Marines but inevitabley the Guard position was overrun by a combination assault of Deep Striking Terminator Squads, Outflanking units of Space Wolf Scouts and an assault by the heavily laden Land Raider Crusader. The game was highly enjoyable and a rematch will have to be arranged for next year.
