Welcome to Green Gifts

Thanks for coming and having a look at our new and slightly dodgy website (bear with us, it will improve!) The basis of this site is to showcase our environmentally friendly, 'Green' ,Crafts and Gifts and to provide to place for people with an interest in 'Green Crafts' to discuss this wonderful hobby!

The idea for this site was born out of a few inebriated nights playing with bottle caps and walnut shells! Of course everyone is so much more enlightened when they're drunk so we thought the concept was just genius and we would be billionaires before the year was out. Obviously we sobered up the next day but the idea was still there and surprisingly it was still a good one. If you think about it (depending on how you think ) we spend so much time recycling the items we "can't and won't use again" and then we head back out to spend more money on things we so desperately need. But, if we were clever at all we would completely cut out the middle man and recycle our used materials at home and breath new life into them by making them into cool, pretty, practical or just plain daft 'green' crafts!

So please take a look around the site, take note of the tips on cutting down your waste, see what you can make at home from the junk in your recycling bin or decide to treat yourself or a friend to one of our fantastic gifts!
