Mount Pleasant Resident Association

The Mount Pleasant Resident Association has been running for many years and with the help of residents and councilors we aim to improve our local area further.
Through these meetings many improvements have been made to the area such as-

• 20 MPH Zone.
• Gates behind Rhondda Street and Cromwell Street put in place to secure the area.
• Removal of a telephone box (often vandalised and used for drug related issues).
• Dog bins.
• Tidy Town campaign.

We hold our ‘Resident Meetings’ on the same day as our local ‘PACT Meetings’.

(Please see ‘Calendar Dates’ for future meetings, times and dates.)

 Mount Pleasant Resident Association Meeting

In these meetings we are there to represent  the interests of Mount Pleasant residents to the appropriate authority and to stimulate concern for the enhancement and maintenance of the area.

PACT Meetings

These meetings are intended to give you an opportunity to highlight the community issues that have an impact on your quality of life and to assist in deciding which issues are dealt with as priorities. The meetings also give you the opportunity to get to know your local officer.
