Well that was very hard work, 1st race I have done for a couple of years and only my 2nd ever solo 12hr event. All went very well and despite not being as fit this year as the last few I managed to complete 11 laps  (about 92miles on my garmin) in 11hrs 5 mins which was enough to get 3rd place in the Grand Vets which was really pleasing.

Unfortunatly the Cocks team of 4 who were in the Vet Males sinished just off the podium in 4th place just 20 seconds or so behind the 3rd place team.

Really enjoyed the course, ideal for that type of endurance event, not too much climbing each lap, plenty of singletrack and enough wide bits for passing and taking a rest although the loamy fresh cut singletrack sections were very hard work.
