I wasn't out biking last night and don't have any details yet but I gather from facebook that Simon came a cropper and ended up at A & E with a suspected broken collar bone which does seem to be the injury of 'choice' for mountain bikers.

The good news is that after some x rays it was confirmed as damaged ligaments not broken although an enforced period of rest will be required :(
