Just over a week ago I entered the Peaslake MTBO. I was hoping to have a partner to enter as team Dorking Cocks but as no one was available I did it solo.

As it turns out it worked out really well for me, I managed to get all of the checkpoints and retun with 11 minutes to spare. I have to say I thought this may be enough to win but as it turned out I came 3rd which I'm still very pleased with.

Really enjoyed myself and the event but it is more fun having a riding partner. Particularly enjoyed the 2 very small sections of bridleway I rode to collect checkpoints which I had never ridden before and that is a rare thing for me in this area these days.
