Just the 9 of us out on the ride last night including the long overdue return of Brian. Brian hasn't ridden with us since having major back problems way back in May 2011, hopefully this will be the first of many rides back with the 'Cocks' for him. With the dry conditons we opted to head over to Box Hill to pick up a few favorites including 'China Pig', 'Life on Mars', 'The Alpine Trail' and 'Secret Singletrack' to name just a few. It was a relatively trouble free ride with just the one puncture (for Simon this week) and some lovely beers in the garden of the William 4th Mickelham. A total of about 20 miles was covered with a little over 2,000 feet of climbing. It was my 5th ride in 5 days and my legs are feeling it - fantastic.
