Well it would appear it’s Huw who has now got the racing bug. Having entered the 60km Brecon Beacon Race last weekend it appears he did very well to come in 45^th out of the 600 or so competitors (18^th in the over 40’s category).

Well done Huw and thanks for heaping more pressure on George and myself to get a respectable position in the Tour de Ben Nevis in a few days time.

In the meanwhile 5 Cocks have flown of to Molini to enjoy a few days biking in real mountains. I’m sure they’ll all be lapping it up over there but in the meantime back here in the uk we still had a decent turn out of 9 people for the Wednesday night ride and a single-track filled ride on Leith Hill washed down with a couple of pints at the Stephan Langton – lovely.
