Well, last Wednesday saw a good turn out of 11 riders for what turned out to be a fairly fast blast around Leith Hill including a couple of the more challenging trails in Redlands wood.

Its amazing that with all the winding around we managed to cover over 20 miles yet went nowhere near the top of the hill or cricket pitch area staying more in the vacinity of Wolvens Lane, Summer Lightning and Redlands wood. This still meant that there was plenty of climbing on offer as well as singletrack so all of us had a decent work out.

Beers were taken at the Stephen Langton in Fiday street for a change as we hadn't stopped there for quite a while and they always serve a good pint. Shame only 6 of us made it that far with Carl and then Antony heading for home on the approach to the pub and George, John & Tread having been lost somewhere in Redlands wood.

At least Mark was there and that along with a couple of phone calls the next day gave me the chance to finalise the order for the new Dorking Cocks Kit. The order was officially emailed in to them today so lets hope we get it all back in time for the Christmas holidays.
