To Sussex and back

This weekend was spent with 4 of us Cocks and Wendy the lone chick,  cycling down to Graffham in Sussex where we camped the night. The route was about 58 miles and went from Westcott out along the North Downs over to Puttenham then Thursley before passing over the 'Devils Punchbowl', on to Henley and the fab 'Duke of Cumberland' pub.  After a beer or two there it was onward to Graffham.

For the return leg it was south out of the Village and up onto the South Downs way for a 25 mile ish section to Bramber and a spot of lunch. There then follows the chain gang up the Downs link where fast progress can be made. Just after Baynards its time to turn off and cut cross country over to Leith Hill and back to Dorking. 59 miles on the 2nd day making a total of 117 mainly off road miles in 2 days - not bad for a weekends riding from your front door.
