Wow, what a ride that was. After all this travelling I turned up feeling fairly exhausted for my 1st Wednesday night ride for a month and managed to persuade Huw to lead.

And lead he certainly did setting off at a cracking pace. We opted to have a look around the Redlands Wood trails for the 1st time in a while which always means a lot of climbing. The group set off at quite a pace and that was to continue for the rest of the evening.

9 of us left from Nirvana and we picked George up on the way making a nice round 10. Carl headed off early from Leith Hill Tower, Antony skipped the pub stop at the Plough but the rest of us did'nt and were rewarded with cracking pints of Tallywhacker and the land lords latest offering ' The Beautiful South' aptly named after last months gig at the pub by the band of that name.

We covered 20 miles taking in loads of singletrack all over Leith Hill and Redlands such as Foot & Mouth, personnal hygeine, summer lightning to name just the tip of the iceberg.

Top ride, and top trials confirming that whilst its great to travel and experince riding in different places, you really can't beat the Surrey Hills for qulity and intensity of tracks.
