Hmmmmm

Gazing out the window on a Wednesday afternoon and one doesn't feel inspired to venture forth on the usual Wednesday night ride tonight.

Three of us "Cocks" were out riding last night, ostensibly to play darts at our local, the Plough in Coldharbour. Having forged through the rain and wind I had to question the sanity of riding when conditions are this Biblical. Everything gets knackered from pads to drive chain, waterproofs stop being waterproof etc etc. Don't get me wrong, the riding itself is still fun and constitution strengthening but it just gets so bloody expensive keeping working parts working, not to mention my old bones!

Tell me I'm not alone in this?
