Snow

So last Tuesday saw another dump of snow, it seemed to be years since we had any real snow and then last year in Feb we had  a big fall and now again, a year later we have our coldest spell of winter weather for 30 years or something so they tell us.

We had a home darts match so that means a cycle up to the plough, I met with Mike and as we headed up through Redlands wood there was just the odd flake, a sign of things to come. Within minutes of getting to Coldharbour the snow started to fall and settle, it didn't take long for it to start building up

We stayed at the pub for a Tallywhacker or 5 watching the snow building up outside and villagers struggle around in their cars. We were looking forward to the trip home and at about 11 we eventually decided to kit up and make a start.

We left on the road towards Dorking which was a struggle as the first little section is actually up hill. We followed the road down to the entrance to Redlands wood then headed off into the woods. From hear we went our seperate ways home. Another 10 miles or so covered and great fun riding home rather drunk in the snow.

Above is Mike heading up the road out of Coldharbour.
