Where does the time go, can't believe its over 10 years ago since the excitment of the year 2000 celebrations. Still, in Biking terms its been a good decade and 2009 itself wasn't half bad.

For us it started with the Strathpuffer 24 hr race in January, this proved a great event. Hopefully we'll have another go at that sometime but not this year.

We also did fairly well in the D2D at Thetford in October, it was our 1st visit there and we loved the course, we'll certainly be back to do that again.

February had our usual trip for a long weekend at Coed y Brenin which is always a good crack whilst May saw 10 of us lead by Huw spend a long weekend in the Black Mountains for some natural Welsh riding and what a great trip that was.

Simon and me got up to the 7 Stanes in July for a long weekend and loved it as per usual whilst the South Downs Way in a day saw several of our crew taking part in one or the other  (and in some cases both) versons of it, including Kiwi Mike & Aussie Matt winning the 1st one and Antony coming 2nd in the 2nd one.

Also in the summer a group of 7 or so of the guys spent a week in Italy which I am told is just superb not to mention numerous trips by many of the guys to Afan.

I also managed to clock up 2,961 miles which is the most I've done for many a year but frustratingly just short of my target of 3,000. And to think up untill the end of Oct I was well on course but was folied in the end by a rubbish last 2 months of the year.
