Back in June we had a great trip to the Black Mountains in Southern Wales. Huw was our leader and guide for the weekend and he did us proud putting together 3 seperate routes each with a really good  real ale pub stop included as a lunch stop.

Our base was the Castle Inn where we stayed in one of the bunk houses. This was ideal for us and came complete with 5 bunk beds two showers and two WC's.

The pub itself was very nice and the beer good and well kept. However the food and Landlords attitude left much to be desired. Still, that didn't much matter in the scheme of things and a good weekend with decent weather was enjoyed by all 13 of us who were able to make it.
