This past weekend 9 of us headed off up to do a bit of trail centre riding in North Wales. We met at Nant yr Arian on Friday lunchtime and had a blast round there taking in the excellent 'Mark of Zoro' downhill twice.

From here we drove up to our accomodation (via a stop for a couple of pints at the rather nice 'Druids' pub just down the road) at Ferndale right in the middle of the trails at Coed y Brenin.

Once unpacked and fed a short night ride was had by all but Huw and Duncan. That evening was spent with plenty of drinking in front of the fire with some (Duncan, Charlie, Brian and Antony) having far more than was wise.

On Saturday we all did a combination of the trials taking in the the dragons back and a few other bits and pieces from other trails. That night 3 of us joined up with another group who were staying near us and did a quick hours blast of some more of the trials near our base before retireing for food and a much quieter night chilling.

Sunday morning arrived and this time we opted to do the MBR trail as we had missed a fairly large section of this out the day before. So off we went at about 9.30 and with no hangovers this time around, had a great time hammering the decents.

Once completed it was back to base to pack up and head for home. No major crashes or incidents occured over the weekend although Brian took a fairly nasty fall when loosing all grip on one of the small wooden bridges. Charlie had a issue with his rear hub so missed out on a bit of Saturdays riding in the afternoon and evening but thats about it.
