17th December saw 10 of us pedaling off from Nirvana Cycles at the start of our traditional Christmas meal ride. The plan was a simple one; get to the Stephen Langton at Friday Street as quick as possible, sink a couple of pints there then get back on the bikes and head over to the Kings Head at Holmbury for our full on traditional meal.

Well, despite the muddy trail conditions we all made it safely over to Holmbury and met up with the 5 other non riding (on this evening) guests. Whilst waiting for the food to be ready we were all able to relax in the bar and have some more of the beer to keep us happy. We even had a surprise phone call on the pubs landline from our friend Paul who is currently out in South Africe doing charity work.

As per last year the food was super and plentiful - Traditional Turkey followed by Christmas pudding and even more beer - wonderful.
