Mongolian Canoe Federation (MCF)

The Mongolian Canoe Federation was established by Mr B Jiandorge in 1978 and became afiliated to the International Canoe Federation and Asian Canoe Confederation in 1998. We have 3 Canoe Clubs established in Ulaan baatar, Erdenet and Darkhan. The MCF is a member of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee.

Our short term objectives are to send competition teams to the 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou 2010 and to the London Olympics in 2012.

Our long term objective is to increase the number of participants throughout Mongolia, to include all people young and old, men and women, advantaged and disadvantaged. This will create the stability we need for future developments.

Recently the MCF has appointed Chris Cartwright (CEO MIOL) as the National Coach and Team Manager.
