Minginish Community Trust - Steering GroupCommunity (or "Development") Trusts are increasingly important, and can access support and funding that is more difficult for other forms of local interest groups to get.Community Trusts have a role in areas where the "free market" does not serve people well. Rural communities in particular are vulnerable to free market forces, as there are fewer economies of scale. Areas of higher population usually take priority. The goal of the Steering Group is to identify how we could benefit from forming a Trust, what it should do, and how we could get started. The most important aspect is a "vision" of what Minginish should look like in the longer term, and how we can get there. Please take a few minutes to think about the topics below, and send in your thoughts before the meeting. To do this, fill in the fields and click Submit. You can send in the form as many times as you like if you think of new things over the next few days. All information is optional and confidential. Please note we are only borrowing a page on the hall web site for this at the moment - it is not a Hall project.NameFirstLastEmailPhone NumberWhat do you think is really important to theresidents of Minginish?
