After last weeks 8-0 win it put us 1 win away from glory !!

Jordan Woods got us off to a brilliant start hitting 2 tons in another 19 dart leg.

Ryan Murray made it 2-0 with a steady display hitting 1 ton.

Darren Beveridge was brilliant in his game hitting a 19 dart leg which included a 180 5th of the season to make the game 3-0.

Gary Mason secured at least a point & put us 1 leg away from championship glory winning his leg & hitting 2 tons .

Tam Gillespie was given the chance to win the league & showed no nerves as he hit 2 tons on way to a seasons best 18 darter to send the Maysons crazy ;-> .

Willie Wishart made the game 6-0 he strugled to score probably because of the noise but saw out the game .

Bob Currie got the fag packet trophy as he lost leg 7 but Jinky played good darts for the away team . 

Pet Robb made it 25 wins out of 27 for our player of the year & make the singles score 7-1 what a season ..

Stevie & Bob won the opening pair easily to put us ahead hitting a ton each.

Gary & Ryan warmed up for finals day with another easy win to make it 2-0 Gary hitting a 180

Pete & Tam were way to strong as they made light work winning there pairs hitting a ton each.

Willie & Darren secured a 4-0 win easily winning .

Stevie Jordan Tony & Craig easily won the fours Jordan & Stevie hitting a ton each .

Craig Tam & Gary were poor in the triples & lost.

What a terrific season we have had winning the pairs undefeated & losing only 1 singles game all season & the performances of all the players have been great & as captain i'm very very proud of them all & to win the league as my last game as captain was terrific. Pete Robb was our player of the year losing only 2 games all season & young Jordan was incredible towards the end of the season hitting 5 180's as did Darren. Willie had a great 1st season & despite folk saying he's leaving he is determind to stay with the champs. Massive good luck to Ryan Murray at Bolton in the PDC UK OPEN you can do it mate. Stevie produced some unreal results when he had the team winning away at MFI & who can forget 'The Magnificent 7' at The Dean ?. Bob had a great 2nd season as did Tam & what a performance to clinch the league. Craig & Tony can't win a league match to save there lives but there brilliant in competitions haha. Tiff , Shug Wee Paul all played there part in our triumph well done boys well done. Hopefuly Stevie can continue our winning ways as the new captain & its been a privelage to have captained such a great bunch of players thanks lads.....

After last weeks results in week 26 put us top of the league in the singles with 2 games to play the guys were a tad edgey going into this game (well stevie & tony were )

To win a championship you need a strong spine in your 8 men so having a great opening man & finishing man is crucial & were lucky as we have both..

Jordan Woods has lit up our team in the last month with legs of 17,16,19 & last night 21 dart leg including 140/100

Gary Mason never hit any tons but was steady in his game to make the score 0-2

Tony Wilson won the 3rd leg hitting 121 in a nervy performance by the team captain

Tam Gillespie made sure of at least a point in the 4th leg but started slow he missed tops for a 115 finish & that seamed to buckle his opponent & Tam came back to take out tops 

Ryan Murray sealed the win with a good leg of darts he like Tam started sluggish but the scores of 100/114 to leave 161 Ryan hit T20 T17 as we held our breath he was unable to tag the bull hardlines Ryan

Willie Wishart was like the games before him a tad nervy perhaps but a great score of 125 spurred him on to the win to make the score 0-6

Darren Beveridge won the 7th leg in a steady performance which included 100

Pete Robb 'THE MAYSONS ROCK' was up against the very dangerous George Yuill but Pete was to strong and made the score 0-8 

This win means if we defeat bottom of the league E.M.W.C (B) at home next week we will be crowned league singles champions so lets keep the momentum going..

Darren & Willie  What a pairing these 2 are its a shame Darren is unavailible for finals day as they would have been a big threat in pairs but they played great to get a leg back

Pete & Tam needed to win to make sure we stayed unbeaten in the pairs & they did just that to make final score 2-2

Loanhead Miners Welfare have announced that Gary Anderson the current Premier League Darts Champion will be coming to Loanhead Miners Welfare Club to do an exhibition on Friday 3rd August 2012, as tickets will be like gold dust we are offering 12 people the opportunity to play Gary live on stage in front of around 300 people, this promises to be one of the best nights of the year in the Edinburgh&Lothians Darts calendar and a rare chance to see and play one of the best dart players in the world.

                               Terms and Conditions
Commencing Sunday 6th May at 6pm and every Sunday thereafter for a 12 week period a weekly winner will earn the right to play Gary on stage at Loanhead Miners on Friday 3rd August 2012.

All names will be placed in a hat where one draw will take place and will be played on a straight knockout format throughout the whole evening, brand new boards will be provided for this event.

Games will consist of a best of 5 legs throughout the whole event up to and including the final for the whole 12 weeks.

First name out of the draw will throw for the bull to determine who throws 1st and this will carry through, if legs should go to 2 v 2,there will be no bull up in the final leg or any toss of a coin to see who throws 1st.

WINNERS will mark the following game if they should progress to the next round.

Entry to the event will be one payment of £10 per player that will entitle you and cover you to play in any of the 12 weeks of the tournament, your name and payment must be paid either before or on the evening of Sunday May 6th 2012.

PLEASE NOTE - there will be no applications considered to enter this 12 week event after Sunday 6th May, those who register before or apply on the 1st evening will be the only players that can take part for the whole 12 week period, THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS, so ensure you register even if you can't make the 1st evening as you will be covered to take part in all 12 weeks.

The Winner of each weekly event will play Gary Anderson on Friday 3rd August 2012, so good luck to all who enter.

Darren Beveridge hit his 4th 180 of the season in his win to make the score 2-0 he missed a few darts at doubes by a baw hair but got there.

Gary Mason hit 2 tons in a great match Vs Hector Reilly but Gaz missed 2 darts at the double & Grants got a leg back.

Willie Wishart has played keek the last 2 games but boy did he turn on the style last night 3 140's in a 16 dart leg great darts by oor scarface.

Tam Gillespie won a close match to seal at least a point & as news filtered through that Woodburn were ahead Vs Easthouses (a) we needed max points

Who better to try sealing a win than Ryan Murray? Well oor Ryan seemed to struggle but hit a ton & as his opponent Paul Campbell missed doubles Ryan took dbl 18 to win the match.

Bob Currie hit 3 tons in his game but 'Red Hot' bust 64 then missed dbl 16 when he came back & lost the leg.

Pete Robb Vs George Prestige 2 of the most experienced 8th men in the league but Pedro is a gem & won easily as George struggled another great win for Pedro.

The game up at Easthouses ended in a 4-4 draw so we go 1 point ahead of our rivals from Easthouses & MFI from Mayfield..

Big Gary & Ryan got us off to a great start winning the opening pair Great from the Pairs qualifiers.

Darren & Willie were brilliant in there win Willie hitting his 4th 140 of the night to give us a 2-0 lead & we needed 1 more win to seal the pairs title.

Bob & Stevie were given the chance to win the title & they did just that as Stevie missed 2 darts to win Bob took out dbl 7 to send the home team wild...

Tam & Pedro lost the last pair to give the away team a leg on the board as the game finished.  CHAMPIONEEEEEESSSSS !!!!!!

Ryan Pedro Stevie & Craig were devastating in the 4 man team as they powered away from the Grants boys from the start .

Craig & Tony were brilliant in a close leg of the JN they missed darts for a 14 dart leg but had to settle for a 19 darter still a brilliant leg.

We are in with a slim chance of something in the triples so just need to keep winning which is what Gary Tam & Jordan did well done boys..

A very tough away tie Vs the very talented boys from Woodburn miners club 

Up 1st again was the very confident Jordan Woods who again hit a stunning leg of 16 darts 100 100 & missed tops for a 160 C/O brilliant . 

We welcomed back Darren Beveridge as we looked to get a 0-2 lead & he played well but has played better but hit a wonderful 110 c/o to seal the win

Willie Wishart played not so good he hit a 140 but wasnt enough as he lost to young Paul Anderson.

Ryan Murray was up 4th he hit 100 140 in his win to make the score 1-3 brilliant from Ryan in 17 darts

Tam Gillespie hit a 100 in a very steady leg of darts to seal at least a point in the singles.

Gary Mason hit only a 100 in his game but his opponent was very impressive to give the home side hope.

Bob Currie dismantled any hopes the home team had as he stormed to a great win which did his confidence the world of good hitting 2 140's

Pete Robb had no pressure on him this time which may have hampered him a tad as it took a wee bit for our player of the year to get going he hit 140 then brilliantly checked 90 to make the score a very respectable 2-6

Gary & Ryan were up 1st in the pairs & as a win would in the event would seal the title we were a wee bit shakey & lost the opening tie.

Pete & Tam as always were solid in a tough tie as the leveled up the game at 1-1

Stevie & Bob won the 3rd leg to put us within touching distance of the title .

Jordan & Darren had the chance of glory in the final pair & were 1st to the double but they boys missed a ton af doubles & the home team crept back & sealed a point :-<

Tony & Willie won the JN but were far from great but a win is a win.

Tam Jordan & gary played fantastic to win a closely fought 3 man team & as our hosts are top of the league it was a bit of a downer on our hosts but we wish them all the best in there last 3 games of the season

WILLIE & STEVIE WON THE 3RD LEG STEVIE HIT HIS 3RD 140 OF THE NIGHT &WILLIE WAS WAY BETTER THAN HIS SINGLES GAME TO PUT US AHEAD .

TAM & PEDRO SEALED THE WIN FOR US IN THE LAST LEG THEY DIDNT SCORE WELL BUT CHECKED AT THE RIGHT TIME... 1-3

THERE WERE WINS IN THE 4S FOR TONY, JORDAN, PEDRO & WILLIE.  WE LOST THE JN WITH RYAN & STEVIE PLAYNG NOT WELL ENOUGH. WE DID HOWEVER WIN THE 3S WITH GAZZA , TAM & TONY SEALING THE WIN..

NEXT WEEK IS A MASSIVE GAME AGAIN AS THEY ALL ARE UNTIL END OF THE SEASON . ITS ANOTHER AWAY TRIP AS WE TRAVEL TO THE MUCH IMPROVED WOODBURN MINERS CLUB .

What a long long night it was on Tuesday as around 128 players entered the league singles and what a very tough field of players we had in draw

We had a mixed night as only Ryan Murray Pete Robb & Tony Wilson qualified but Gary Mason Stevie Dall Jordan Woods Siobhan Wilson Danielle Ross Willie Wishart all missed out by 1 round to qualify Tam Gillespie lost in rd 2 to the very impressive Andy Mcardle. Craig Broughton lost out to K Stobbart in rd 2 Jordan Woods bead former Scotland star Rab Turnbull 2-0 in a wonderful performance

A tough game Vs The Salters from woodburn we beat them 1-7 at woodburn but they are a much improved side.

Jordan lost the opening tie of the night & he didnt play well so no complaints

Big Gary tied up the game with a steady but not brilliant performance on the night. 

Craig was brilliant in his game puting us ahead hitting 3 tons he toiled a wee bit on the double but got there in the end .

Willie hit a 140 in his game as he strolled to victory to make the game 3-1 . 

P Robb hit 2 tons in his game but was up against former Scotland player Rab Turnbull who hit 4 tons to dent Petes quest for POY

Tam hit a ton in his win to get the points as the away team only had 7 men .

Bob lost the last game of the singles to make the final score 5-3 & as news filtered through to the players that the MFI had again been defeated it put us right back in the race for the league singles..

The pairs this season have been a magic event for us as we lead by 9 points with a game in hand & are still undefeated with only 5 games left.

Pairs qualifiers Tony & Craig got us off to a flyer they didnt score well but Tony finished 63 to take the opener.

Gary & Willie were absolute gash but somehow held on & managed to win ther pair to give us the points.

Stevie & Bob lost the last pair but points were sealed.

Tam & Peter had a walkover..

Jordan & Craig lost the JN.but hats off to Rab Turnbull who was outstanding checking 130.

Gazza Tam & Willie won the last event the triples to settle a decent night of darts.

Big mention to Rab Turnbull who was magic all night & will prove a major threat next week in the singles..

What a massive challenge to our squad as we made our way to Newtongrange to play league champions The Dean Tavern with 5 players missing Stevie had a huge task on his hands with only 7 players to try getting a result there but what was to follow was an incredible performance by Stevies magnifcent 7..

Craig Broughton was given the task of trynig to level up the game as we were already a game behind with only 7 & he was up against the very dangerous Jim Prestige & Craig was brilliant hitting a 140 on way to taking the 1st leg..

Jordan Woods was up against former POY & multiple league singles champion Davy Rowley so he would need to be on his A game & what a performance a seasons best 15 dart leg for young Jordan including a 140 & a 4th of the season 180 to give us a 1-2 lead..

Big Gary Mason was under par as the Dean clawed a leg back to make it 2-2 .

Tam Gillespie Beat Davy Black to again give us the lead in what was turning out to be a great game of darts..

Stevie Dall played against current singles champ & POY Skeggy but both players were under par Stevie hit a ton & managed to get a stunning win to give us at least a point which was a brilliant result but with 2 games still to go would we upset the champs for a 2nd time this season ???

Bob Currie deserves tons of credit as he dragged himself to help his team out with a bad back he hit a ton but lost to make the last leg vital fo both teams but we've got a secret weapon ....

Well what can we say about big Pete Robb if theres a better player in the league to steal vital wins or draws then bring them on as were still to see them & yet again Pete held his nerve ( IF HE HAS NERVES ) hitting a 140 to gain an incredible 3-5 victory in the singles well done boys well done.. Keeps us in the hunt

With only 3 pairs at our disposal and defending an 8 point lead it was vital we did not lose.

Gary & Jordan were up 1st & Gary missed dbl 20 for a 105 finish & the Dean checked out so were 2-0 up

Stevie & Bob have been tremendous all season & again gave us hope with a great win..

The pressure was on Tam & Pete to try & secure a massive point & yet again they didnt let us down as they stormed to victory to get a 2-2 draw what a result...

Last night saw us make the short trip along the high street to play the Harrow Hotel

Darren was 1st up & hit a ton on way to a win as 1st man again.

Jordan also hit a ton & a brilliant 98 checkout S1 T19 D20 class.

Willie hit 2 tons as he tries to get back to his early season form & is looking good as he made it 0-3.

Gary lost the 4th game despite hitting 2 tons as he toiled on his doubles.

Stevie played well in securing at least a point hitting a ton in his win & a good performance .

Tony won his 1st singles game of the season tosecure the win although he struggled to hit the treble.

Tam hit 2 tons in his win & his double at 1st attempt to make it 1-6

Pedro as ever was solid hitting 2 tons he did miss a few doubles but saw the match out to make the final score 1-7.

Tony & Craig missed a hatfull of doubles as they lost the opening pairs game.

The very impressive pairing of Willie & Darren leveled up in there pairs match.

Gary & Stevie were paired together as there regular partners were absent & made the game 1-2

So Tam & Peter had the added pressure of securing a very important win & like his singles match Tam hit double at 1st attempt to secur 3 very important points.

Well darts fans a big congratulations to our opponents who derseved there victory on tuesday night at the Maysons as we suffered our 1st home defete in 2 years !

Darren was up 1st in the singles & what an incredible game Darren hit 134 100 126 to leave 32 & didnt get a throw at it.

Tony was up in only his 2nd singles of the season & nerves showed as he missed 2 darts at the double to pull us level.

Big Gary grabbed a leg back with a good performance including a 100 .

Willie has been playing well lately so was in confident mood but lost despite hitting a 100 .

Tam also has been playing well & hit a 100 but lost out to guarantee the away team at least a point.

We needed to win all 3 remaining ties to get a draw so the pressure was on Vice Captain Stevie he played well hitting 2 tons but missed to many doubles .

So with the match score at 1-5 only pride to play for Wee Bob hit 140 100 in his win to get a leg on the board . 

Big Pedro in the running for POY won the last leg to make the score 3-5 & put a sever dent in our title hopes..

Bob & Stevie have been a revelation in recent weeks as a pairing & easily won .

Gary & Jordan were paired together as Ryan was absent & lost.

Tam & Pedro won the 3rd tie to put us ahead .

Darren & Willie were very very unlucky as they were sitting on a double there opponents checked out dbl 15 with there 3rd dart & the most wicked deflection into the double you will ever see..

Craig Jordan Tony & Stevie played not good enough in the 4s with the only bright note a terrific 180 from Tony but wasnt enough. 

Jordan & Wee Paul were well beaten in the JN to give the Coach another win .

Craig Darren & Big Gary won the triples to give us a wee victory at the end of the night .

The Maysons made the trip up mayfield looking to close the gap on the mfi to 5 points and the boys done just that.

Up first was Darren who started with a 180 followed by 95 97 93 dbl 18 check for a 13 darter.

Ryan was up next hitting another 180 v Davie Glodek who also hit a 180 and came out on top amleing it 1-1

Stevie was next up v Andy Pollock losing so 2-1 to the Mfi

Willie was 4th man and won his match to make it 2-2

Tam the man won to make it 3-2

Bob currie big gazza and pedro won all there matches to give us a fantastic win in the singles 6-2

The maysons are top of the pairs and wanted to keep our unbeaten run going. We won 4-0 Bob and Stevie kept there good winning run going to take the first pair up next was Ryan and Gazza followed by Tam and Pete then Darren and Willie,so 4-0 win put us 8 points clear and the top great work lads keep it up.

Well done a great night for the Maysons winning the singles and pairs next up a hard match v a team the maysons cant seem to beat the coach but the boys will be in confident mood heading into this match good luck lads

As theres only 2 points between The Maysons & Easthouses in the league singles this was always going to be a very tough match with 11 county league players spread across both teams a lot of respect was shown.Jordan was up against the very dangerous Davy Sharp & Jordan started to slow as Davy took control hitting a 180 Jordan hit a ton but the away team took the lead.

Big Gary was up against away captain Steve Gerrard but Stevie could not get going Gary hit 140 & 100 as he made it 1-1

Bob played Vs Jimmy Farrell in the 3rd tie with the 1st 2 legs going with throw Bob looked to try & Break he hit a ton but just missed dbl 18 for a 92 check & Jimmy sealed the win on dbl 5.

Willie has been way bellow par recently so as he played county team mate Garry Wylie he would need to up his game & boy did he deliver starting his match with 140 140 wich sealed the win to make it 2-2

Tam had a tough battle with Andy Mcardle in game 5 & although he didnt hit any tons he did hit plenty 80+ scores both missed doubles to win but Tam finaly broke the throw to give us the lead for the 1st time.

Darren missed 2 darts at dbl 16 to give us a 2 leg lead he had pulled himself out his sick bed to play for his team but Jonny Maughan hit a 19 dart leg to make it 3-3.

Shug had a tough game Vs John Narrie & with both playing well Shug missed a big 16 which would have gave him 3 clean darts at tops but he had 2 with next throw & missed to make the score 3-4 with 1 to go.

Pete Robb again had the pressure of digging his boys out a hole & sealing a deserved point but he was up against former Maysons man & county team mate Paul Hannaway both starteds very cagey but Pete took control with a 140 but Paul came back with a couple of big scores Pete was 1st to the double but missed then Paul missed then Pete missed then Paul missed as both sets of player were wondering how these 2 top players kept missing Pete again proved he's the number 1 player in the league as an 8th man as he hit double 1 which almost took the roof off the boozer get in there big Pedro your the man !!!!! .

Gary & Shug were up 1st & fell behind against Paul & Andy but they missed tons of doubles & the home boys showed them how to hit a double at the 1st attempt.

Stevie & Bob have been great together recently and Stevie hit 2 tons to put us 2 up & as were top of the league in the pairs it was vital we won 1 of the next 2 legs.

Darren & Willie played well in there pairs but with them sitting on 4 daft Willie went for dbl 1 he missed board then hit double 1 but the marker then showed him he still had 2 left so he stepped back & planted his 3rd dart in dbl 1 again to win the pairs haha class big lad.

Tam & Pete were last up & lost the final pair but it didnt matter as the pairs had already been won.

Craig Paul Tony & Stevie were massive underdogs in the 4s but we all played brilliant & had darts to win it but was not to be.

Tony & Craig played brill in the JN pairs but despite hitting 3 ton + scores our opponents hit a 14 dart leg in a wonderful performance by Garry & Andy well done guys

Darren Willie & Jordan easily won the triples with some great scoring & end the night on a high..

Overall a great night of darts & a fair result overall well done to all the players involved.

We made the trip up to play the in form MCC & boy were they up for it .

Jordan was up 1st & was off form he has been fantastic since his promotion to the 1st 8 but was not himself he did hit a 140 to leave 48 & missed 2 darts to steal the leg but was not to be.

Stevie was up 2nd & like jordan before him was not at his best & lost the leg to find us 2-0 down.

Ryan was next & again started slow but he has class & 6 darts can change a game when he's playing he hit a 100 & pulled a game back to 1-2 .

Willie was up against the very dangerous Alec "Joe" Milne & Willie was not on form he did hit a 100 but lost his 2nd game in a row .

Darren like Ryan has class so it was no surprise when he started his leg 180 140 to easily win & pull it back to 2-3 .

Tam's game was close until his opponent hit 180 while sitting on 220 which won him his game & put our hosts 4-2 up . 

We needed to win the last 2 games to salvage a draw & Bob was great in his game hitting 2 tons including a 110 checkout .

Pete has been our saviour so many times the last couple of seasons there is no player better in the league to have as an 8th man & he was on fire his 1st 6 darts were 140 180 he missed a bull for a 12 dart leg but closed it out to get an important point .

Gary & Ryan were up 1st in pairs as were top of the league in the pairs we needed to start strong Gary hit a 100 on way to taking the 1st leg .

Stevie & Bob were great in there game to make the score 0-2 .

Willie & Darren as always were awesome & sealed the win with a great leg .

Pedro & Tam were last up & sealed a 0-4 win Tam left his partner 170 & Pete just missed the bull for a max C/O .

Gary Pete Stevie & Paul were up in the 4's & proved to strong as they ran out easy winners . 

The very drunk Tony & Craig were in the J.Neilson pairs & played good to win it with Craig hitting dbl 8 WOOOOOOOHHOOOOOOO .

Gary Jordan & Darren were far to strong in the triples ( Not that i can remember ) & finished the night off with another win

Jordan was up 1st & again was brilliant he hit 140 & 2 tons winning the opening tie. Tam was next he hit 125 in a straight forward win. Gary was in the team as Ryan was absent & won a close match hitting a ton. Willie hit 2 tons but could not hit a double & lost to give SMT hope. Darren hit a ton in his game to get at least a point. Stevie who picked tonights team then secured the win with a good performance hitting a ton. Bob also hit a ton in his win to make it 6-1. Big Pete then won the last leg hitting 2 tons to make the score 7-1...

Pairs Tony was paired with Jordan in the opening pair & did enough to win. Stevie & Bob then hit an impressive 20 darter to make it 2-0. Darren & Willie bettered that with a 17 darter. Tam & Pete easily won the 4th leg to seal a 4-0 win...

Pathhead at home on paper should have been a very tough match but they were a tad under par & we took full advantage

Jorda was up 1st man again & his confidence is growing each week he seems a different player now as he beat very experienced Dave Corris hitting a ton. Tam was fantastic in defeating POY contender Paul Fraser handing him his 1st loss Tam hit 140 & a ton. Willie hit 3 tons for the 3rd week running a 134 a ton & a 115 C/O. Ryan won his game to secure at least a point . Darren came back from a slow start to take all the points to the delight of the team. Stevie hit 125 & a ton to make it 6-0 to the home team. Bob hit 2 tons to make it 7-0 . Pedro hit a ton in his win to keep up his unbeaten record this season as the singles finnished 8-0...

Shug was back in team for the 1st time in 20 years to partner Gary who incredibly was back playing a week after an operation he hit a 140 but they lost the opening pair . Ryan & Craig made it 1-1 then Willie & Darren gave us the lead then Tam & Pedro sealed a 3-1 win in pairs.

Bob Shug Craig & Darren made up the 4 man team & had to overcome a brilliant fight back from the visitors including a 180 by Dave Corris as the home side won the fours.

Tony & Gary were unlucky not to win the J.Nielson pair as they missed 3 darts to win but Pathhead took the spoils.

Craig Jordan & Willie played in the 3 man team & played well as we won the last event..

We made the short trip up to gods country (WOODBURN) to play the Salters Inn

We were missing 4 players so the 8 single were different from previous weeks Jordan was up 1st & was fantastic checking out 100 to win his leg Tam was 2nd & was steady in his leg hitting a ton Tony played his 1st singles but wass well bellow par hitting a ton but lost Willie was on fire hitting 100 140 131 in his win Ryan was also brilliant hitting 140 140 to secure at least a point Darren also hit a 140 in his win Craig was given his 1st singles match & hit 2 tons as did Pete to win 1-7.

Ryan & Paul were up 1st and had chances to win but lost the 1st leg Craig & Tony also lost to give the home team at least a point but Tam & Pete won then Willie & Darren won to get a point in the pairs.

Paul & Darren won the J.Nielsons in a straight forward win.

Siobhan Jordan & Tony lost the last event but really should have won

Andy was absent so Bob was given the job as 1st man & hit a ton but lost the 1st leg . Willie was on fire as he finished in 18 darts including 140 100 125 to draw us level . Gary lost the 3rd leg with the win going with the throw . Ryan hit a 140 in his win drawing us level again . Stevie was back in the singles he hit a 132 but lost to give The Dean a 2-3 lead with 3 to go . Darren hit 120 100 & won the 6th leg to again draw level . Tam finaly broke the throw of the champions as he defeated Henry Rowley hitting a 125 & 100 to put us ahead for the 1st time . Pete Robb then held his throw to seal victory hitting a 140 to win the singles 5-3 Pete has won all his singles matches this season so far .

Gary Willie & Darren kept there place in the 3s as they played great last week but the Dean won the last event.

A fantasic win for us and well done to Stevie for picking the winning team. Next week will be part 1 of the champion of champions we will have 2 flyers on our free week then the 2 winners will play eachother & that will decide the player who will represent the Maysons as champion of champions. Ryan Murray won the event 2 seasons ago so will be looking to represent us again..

A game which on paper should have been a straight forward victory for us prooved anything but easy maybe we expected to win easy !!

SINGLES

Andy was up 1st & was stedy as always easily winning. Gary hit 2 tons on way to his victory. Willie hit 121 & a ton as he made it 0-3. Bob won his game to take at least a point. Tam hit a ton but was missed doubles cost him. Darren was brilliant until he got to his double he missed double 4 for a 14 dart leg but missed doubles let his opponent in to get another leg back. Jordan played well in his last outing but was way way bellow par as the home team looked to gain a very unlikely point. Pete hit 121 & a ton but like Darren he was missing doubles they had chances to win but Pete finaly hit dbl 1. Hopefully a wake up call for our players as we play current league leaders & champions The Dean Tavern.

This is an event where we have won all our matches so we were looking to continue . Pete & Stevie were up 1st & put us ahead. Craig & Tony lost the next leg . Willie & Darren played well to put us ahead with Darren checking out 100. Jordan & Gary missed the chance to give us maximum points as they lost the last leg.

What a night at Easthouses miners for the 1st competition of the season.....

Pete Robb was the only player absent so we had an almost full squad to choose from. We were drawn against Mayfield Community Club in the Quarters as we wre given a bye. We won that game easily 5-1 with only Darren losing although he should have won . The other winners were Andy,Craig,Gary,Ryan & Tam Willie Bob & Stevie didnt play.

In the semi finals we were drawn against the league singles champions The Dean Tavern & it proved a brilliant game with the game tied at 4-4 the last 2 players were Andy Innes V Kris Mcvities & roared on by his team mates wee Andy produced a solid leg to win the leg & the match 5-4 also winning were Darren Bob Gary & Willie.

Well done guys the final will take place on league finals day where we will play Easthouses Miners (A) who qualified by beating nieghbours Easthouses Bowling Club then a strong team from Pathhead congratulations to them for reaching the final it should be a close match if the league match has anything to go by where we scraped a last leg winner.

Wee Andy was not giving away chances like last week as he started brilliant with a 140 followed by a ton to put us ahead, Big Gary was slow out the blocks he hit a ton and left a finnish but his opponent checked out 82 to level up, Bob was back in singles after sitting out last week as he lost 2 on spin and he wasnt risking sitting out again easily winning, Willie was not playing well in his game but he managed to hang on & get the win, Ryan was like Willie & not throwing well his opponent missed a double & Ryan took out a big finnish to give us a guaranteed point, Stevie hit a ton but he lost his 2nd game in a row poor laddie, Jordan was given the nod  by vice cpt Stevie ahead of Craig to get his 1st game in the singles & roared on by his team mates including Wee Craig ( Good Spirit Boys ) he got his first win to get us the points , So for the 1st time in a few weeks there was no pressure on big Pedro but he easily won hitting 2 tons on way.

Darren & Tam who sat out singles as they lost 2 single on spin were up 1st in the pairs Tam hit a ton & Darren hit 123 & a ton but they somehow lost, Tony & Craig won a close game to level the tie up then Ryan & Willie kept up there 100% record to put us ahead, Andy & Pedro won the final pair easily pedro hit !40 & a ton.

We kept up our 100% record in triples as Tam, Gazza & Craig played great Tam hit 137 Gary hit a ton.

We currently remain undefeated in singles with 4 wins & 2 draws & we have won all 6 games in pairs & also in the triples we have won all 6 well done team....

Andy was very unlucky in the opening match losing his 1st game of season after busting 16 by hitting dbl 16, Gary was back in the team & was back to his best hitting 140 & a ton to level up the game, Tam was brilliant hitting 2 tons until he got to the double & ended up losing, Willie like gary was back to almost his best hitting 125 & a ton to make the game 2-2 Stevie lost the 5th game miss counting then his opponent took out bull with Stevie waiting on tops,Ryan was devastating hitting a ton & 135 then checking out on 113, Darren hit 2 tons but missed 2 darts at dbl 8 & lost so yet again big Pedro Robb would have to dig his team-mates oot the shite & he didnt dissapoint winning the last leg easily to get a deserved draw although we should have needed to rely on Pete

Andy Innes was again our 1st man & his opponent started with 121 but Andy bettered that with a 140 then steady darts saw him over the line Bob Currie was up next & started slow but a 140 then 100 put him in control and he checked out 60 to put us 2-0 up Tam Gillespie was on fire as he started his game with a 180 he was down to 60 in 12 darts but missed a couple of doubles then checked to see us 3-0 up Ryan Murray hit 2 tons on way to a straight forward win to secure at least a point Gary Mason lost his game as his opponent hit 100/140/140 Willie Wishart secured the win with great darts a 100/140 before checking out. Darren Beveridge & Bob Currie were up 1st & played steady Darren hitting a 134 in there win Ryan & Willie struggled in there game but managed to get over the line Tony & Stevie struggled to as Tony started the leg with a 180 it was downhill from there but secured the win Andy & Jordan were way to strong as they coasted to a win to secure a 4-0 victory

ALSO SIGNING IS THE VERY EXPERIENCED ANDY INNES WHO HAS WON LEAGUE TITLES BEFORE IN THE LEAGUE & LIKE GARY IS A BRILLIANT SCORER & FINNISHER. THE SURPRISE OF THE NIGHT WAS ANDY & STEVIE IN THE J.NIELSON STEVIE MISSED DBL 13 FOR A 15 DARTER AND THEY LOST THE GAME BUT ALL CREDIT TO THERE OPPONENTS THEY PLAYED TERRIFIC DARTS

CRAIG , TAM & PAUL PLAYED IN THE TRIPLES & WERE TO STRON AS WE RAN OUT WINNERS TO END THE NIGHT ON A HIGH

As like the last time we played smt in the league our opponents didnt show so we were awarded all the points which secured 2nd place in the league singles & 3rd place in the J.Nielson pairs in only our 2nd season well done

After last weeks nightmare performance at The Rowantree we were looking for a reaction.

Craig was up 1st & played great to put us ahead. Tam then lost his game that he should have won. Bob hit 140 & a ton to put us 1-2 up. Paul hit 2 tons as he won his match to make it 1-3. Stevie then secured at least a point winning his match. Tony had the chance to secure the points but he let a big lead slip & lost despite hitting 2 tons. Tiff secured the precious 5th leg to get the deserved win. Big Pedro made no mistake in making the score 2-6 hitting a ton but it realy should have been 0-8.

Big Pedro & Siobhan Wallace won the opening pair then Craig & Tony somehow lost the 2nd leg Jordan & Stevie lost the next to put the home side 2-1 up but Paul & Tiff made no mistake in securing a point

The 2 Siobhans Craig & Jordan won the 4 man team by a mile as Siobhan Wilson checked dbl 1 to secure the deserved win

Tam & Paul lost the J.Nielsons but Woodburn defenetly deserved to win this as there pairing played great although Paul almost stole the leg narrowly missing dbl 6 for a 126 C/O

Bob Stevie & Jordan won the last event easily to finnish off the night with a win

Next week is our biggest game of the season as only a win will do which will secure 2nd place in the league. Congratulations to the Dean Tavern in winning the league singles this year we pushed them really hard but just fell short but we can all be proud of how we have performed. Paul Hannaway Bob Currie Tam Gillespie & Pete Robb have all played unbelievable in there 1st season especially in the singles. Mark Tiffney & Stevie Dall have been also outstanding with Stevie only losing 1 game away from home all season absolutly brilliant. Also new signings Siobhan Wallace & Jordan Woods have been great this season.
