On August 1st my latest novel The Darkest Walk will be published in e-book format. On the 18th August it will be launched as hard copy in the DCA in Dundee, Scotland.

Set in 1847 and 1848, The Darkest Walk is the first in a series featuring Detective Mendick, who is sent to Manchester to investigate rumours of dangerous new leadership in the militant Chartist organisation. While there he finds that a case which seemed straightforward at first takes him into a very tangled web and leads him into a dark walk of crime that could shake the nation.
