2011 looks like being an interesting year.

In 2010 I was working on the Dundee Whaling History Project, working on a Postgraduate history qualification at the University of Dundee and writing.

2011 should see some of the results.

In March I had a piece published. Titled: 'Historical Fiction and settings' it was included within the book Historical Fiction Writing: A Practical guide and tool kit edited by Myfanwy Cook, published by Active Sprite Press 

In August Fledgling Press will publish my next book, provisionally entitled Darkest Walk. Set in England in 1848, it is a detective novel where the central character, Sergeant Mendick, is sent to Manchester to find out what kind of trouble is brewing. . .

And then in September Aardwolfe of the USA will publish a digi novel The Last Greenlandman, a supernatural horror story set aboard a Dundee whaling ketch.
