Creating Crafts from the Earth

Welcome to the site of Magic Earth, the brand name for me, - Ian Talbot

I'm an Artist, Dreamer, Mystic, Piscean, Craftsman and

Tenant of the World around us.

I trained as a Potter, but have now extended myself into Wood, Clay, Stone and Bone sculpture, jewellery, wares, one offs, painting, printing, photography, carving and landscape design.

I believe fully in the Evolution of Flora and Fauna, except for that of Man Kind on this tiny planet. Crank or not, my thoughts are that outside intervention produced the image of the human beings from a race elsewhere. This planet has too many mysteries that need solving, and too many problems that need evolving.

OK, perhaps I read and think too much.

I like to teach those who wish to learn, not just about the world of art but who are interested in the absorbtion of mystical and historical information. As you communicate whilst creating wares and art, then those creations become more than a static form, but do infact exist as the binary whole in the form from the creationist artisan
