We are a group of nine students of Bathgate Academy who came together a couple of weeks before the Celtic Connection Competition. We got to the finals, almost got short-listed, then sadly went no further. However, we are still going!

We came together through the help of Mrs Brown and Mr Bruce, so a huge thank you to them both.

We go by the name - M1 Bourach Band, as we first rehearsed in Music Room 1 and a bourach is a collection of things sort of heaped together, which suits us quite well.
