The 1st International Living Educational Theory Research Online Conference

Theme: Living Educational Theory research making a difference in communities & organisations

Saturday 27th June 2020 12.00-15.00 UK  (UCT+1) video conference 

Participation is free for all participants

People may be engaged, at any one time, in many sites of practice and research projects. This is an invitation to all those who wish to develop their knowledge, understanding and practice of Living Educational Theory research projects focused on the question, 'How do I, individually or in cooperation with others, enhance the difference Living Educational Theory research can make in a community (and/or an organisation) concerned with extending human flourishing?

Participants will expect to:

  • Learn what Living Educational Theory researchers are doing as they research in their own context, 'How do I, individually or in cooperation with others, enhance the difference Living Educational Theory research can make in a community (and/or an organisation) concerned with extending human flourishing?'
  • Engage in research conversations to progress research, at whatever stage it is (from the earliest to the most developed), focused on the question 'How do I, individually or in cooperation with others, in my context, enhance the difference Living Educational Theory research can make in a community (and/or an organisation) concerned with extending human flourishing?’

a) your name and where you are currently geographically based

b) your most recent living-poster (click here for details on how to create a living-poster) 

c) brief details (a couple of sentences) which will enable others to know:

i) about your research project in answer to the question, 'How do I, in cooperation, enhance the difference Living Educational Theory research can make in a community (and/or an organisation) concerned with extending human flourishing?’ in my context,

ii) what you are doing and/or thinking of doing,

iii) how you will know whether you are enhancing your educational influence in learning,

iv) what data you have (or will) collect to enable you to know whether you are making progress in your intended direction and to notice unintended consequences.

We will post these details as we recieve them on this website so people can get to know about who is going to be participating. We will send you the link for the Zoom event nearer the time.
