Lynn Pryde, Tweed Bags and Accessories.

 From my studio on the Isle of Skye at  Linicro near Uig. I  have great fun making Tweed Bags and lovely Accessories for the home. The bag collection is growing and there is lots of gorgeous accessories to brighten up your home. 

The tweed I use all originates from Woolen Mills in Scotland. Including Harris Tweed and  Tweed originating from Brora in Sutherland, a fantastic little village where I was born and very happily grew up. 

Pure Wool Tweeds are a delight to work with and the colours are truly inspiring. From traditional earthy tones through to bright and striking blues, pinks and greens.... I'm confident theres a tweed that will appeal to everyone.

 

 The bags I make are carefully finished with corsages made from contrasting tweeds or with flowers which I have felted  from merino wool.

I also make cushions and draught excluders in a variety of my own individual designs.

 

The studio is now up and running and situated in outbuildings beside our house. It is a busy little place and can be a bit messy at times! However there is a tidy display area where you can see my work for sale. I also have a small collection of haberdashery and fabrics that you can purchase to create your very own masterpieces.
