What is Laughter Yoga?

Laughter Yoga is a way of learning to laugh for no reason to achieve some of the physical and psychological benefits of sustained and hearty laughter. 
 

Dr Madan Kataria started the Laughter Yoga movement in a park in Mumbai, India in 1995.  It is now practised in over 73 countries around the world!

 

What are the benefits of Laughter Yoga?

·        A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after;

·        Laughter boosts the immune system;

·        Laughter decreases stress hormones;

·        Laughter is contagious;

·        Laughter is fun!
