This site is to let you know about me, my past experiences and what I am doing these days

Well it all started on January 22 1951, when I was born in the town of Southgate in a posher bit of North London. From what I have learnt over the years is that my dad paid for me to be born in a private medical place, as the NHS then could not be trusted.

Yes you have worked it out, I'm getting on a bit, but have no plans of ever retiring.

My name is Leonard Over, although called Len or Lennie by friends and relations. The formal name only used for medical and legal concerns, like driving licence, passport and the doctors surgery.

I'm a trained telecommincations engineer, and only partake in that line on very occasional events. I did write for a few radio magazines for around 14 years, and made a few TV appearances in that time. I was lucky to appear on Channel 4's "The Big Breakfast" and I could tell you a few stories of that event.

I'm currently not working at this moment due having a serious operation on my lower spine at the end of November 2018, and have been told that it could take up to three years or more for a full recovery.

I still write the occasional magazine article, and I'm researching for more articles in the future.

I have been an actiive user of radio communications for just 40 years and will be active in the Ruby Activities of $0 years of legal UK CB Radio on November 4th 2021.

I have been to the new White Hart Lane Stadium a few times, and even if you have no interest in football, I can say it's worth a visit to see this magnificent building for yourself
