Knockdhu Natural Produce is a family run business based on our 18 acre croft in Lairg in the Northern Highlands of Scotland. We produce rare breed Highland beef and market garden produce in a natural way using old fashioned methods of production.

Our fold of pure Highland cattle are raised in a stress free natural environment, low intensity,  high welfare. They are grass fed on our species rich fields with additional winter fodder of hay and straw. The calves are naturally weaned and kept with their mothers for as long as possible.

The quality of life our cattle have is of the upmost importance to us. Each animal has it's own name and personality. Out beef is as ethical as we can make it. The proof is in the depth of flavour.

Highland cattle are one of Britain's oldest and most distinctive breeds with a long thick coat and majestic sweeping horns. They are uniquely hardy and thrive outdoors in the unpredictable Highland climate.
