Kirkhill have progressed to the next round of the association cup after defeating the current Holders of the Premier Division.
Kirkhill started with a 3-5-2 formation whilst their opponents began with a 2-4-4 formation.
Kirkhill opened the scoring just 2 minutes in when Daniel Macleod scored. before a minute later maple court equalised, only to fall behind yet again to an own goal. Then a second goal from Daniel Macleod made it 3-1 and he then completed his hat trick inside the first half to make it 4-1. Maple court pulled 1 back before half time to set the score at 4-2.
Gussie Day then made it 5-2 in the second half. Maple court again pulled 1 back for 5-3.
Then from a Maple Court penalty kick Dougie Laird flew across the goals to tip the ball acrobatically round the post and shook his head in shame for not catching the ball and conceding a corner.
Daniel Macleod then grabbed his 4th of the night when he slotted home a penalty kick to make it 6-3. Callum Cross then extended the lead to 7-3.
Maple court scored the final goal of the game from the spot to make it 7-4.
