Fluke 2-8 KFC

Kirkhill maintained their 100% record with an emphatic win although fluke made them work for it. With just 4 minutes gone callum cross took advantage of some hesitant defending to nod the ball past the keeper only to see his effort rebound off the post and back into the keepers arms. Kirkhill took the lead when Calum Cross took the ball for a run down the left before crossing for Paul Hewitson to slot home the opener 15 minutes in.  5 minutes later and it was 2-0 when Calum Cross knocked the ball after a sweeping move down the right.  Number 3 arrived when Raymond Harrison nodded home at the back post from a cross.  Fluke then pulled a goal back when a long ball caught out the defence and although an excellent stop from Laird in the goals the ball rebound to the Fluke and the ball was slotted home for 1-3.  Then just before the break Terry Ivany rolled back the years with a chesley turn before placing his left foot shot into the bottom corner to make it 1-4.

Half time substitute Daniel Macleod then grabbed his first goal for the club when he broke down the right before chipping the keeper from the edge of the box.  Fluke then came back into the game for a spell and pulled another goal back amidst a defensive crisis when Mark Davidson was off receiving treatment.  Kirkhill made it 6-2 when cross broke free in the box and slotted home from 6 yards. Mike Cummings added number 7 when he cooly curled a side foot effort into the far corner from 18 yards.

But saving the best till last when Martin Anderson won the ball with a superb tackle on the edge of his own box before releasing Daniel Macleod down the left who ran from his own half before beating 5 defenders before cooly slotting home to make it 8-2 for Kirkhill.
