KFC 4-1 Curryhoose

Kirkhill marched on with a sixth league victory in a row with a hard fought win over curryhoose.

Curryhoose taking the lead midway through the 1st half when Martin Anderson was adjudged to have pushed the forward who went down and the referee pointed to the spot with the spot kick been converted. The game drifted towards either team being on top for the rest of the first half with Daniel Macleod and callum cross coming close for kirkhill.

Kirkhill came out in the second half looking to play football on the deck and were finding success without the finish, until a move down the right wing saw Terry Ivany cut inside and after knocking the ball clean past the defender he was scythehed down inside the box. Alan Macdonald stepped up and slotted the ball into the net for the equaliser.

The game again drifted between sides being on top but after some wild and misstimed challenges  came flying in on the kirkhill attack line a Paul Hewitson double had kirkhill 3-1 up and growing in confidence, When Callum Cross picked the ball up in centre midfield and charged forward before unleashing an unstoppable strike into the top corner beyond a helpless goalkeeper to make it 4-1 before a cramping celebration insued.

Kirkhill remain 3 points clear at the top of the table after waterside again won.

Next up for the League Leaders is a cup tie at the bught on sunday against Poachers Inn Before returning to league business on Thursday night against Dores at the bught.
