Clach Youth 5-3 KFC

Kirkhill went into this game with 9 players missing and with a new look youthfull midfield which had an average age of nearly 40 years old!

Kirkhill took the lead in this tie when Martin Montgomery scored from the angle of the 18 yard box with a superb lob over the keeper into the far corner.

Clach hit back with 2 goals to take a 2-1 lead. A lead that they didnt really deserve.

Paul Mcdonald raced clear just before half time and rounded the keeper before slotting the ball home to level the scores.

Kirkhill then deservedly took the lead 20 minutes into the 2nd half when Michael Cummings headed the ball home from close range.

Clachs young legs then dug deep to find 3 goals late on to take themselves into the next round of the cup.
