KFC 4-1 Culloden Moor Inn
Kirkhill opened up their Division 2 campaign with a well earned 4-1 home victory against a culloden team that had the challenges flying in from the go.
Kirkhill took the lead as the first half wore on through an own goal after the defender diverted Martin Montgomerys cross into his own net.
They doubled their advantage after the break with a Johnny Jones strike low past the keeper with an assist from Martin Andersons free kick, A third goal came from Martin Montgomery after a cross by either MacGillivray or Laird i cant remember but whoever claims it first next week can have it. They extended their lead further when Mike Walker scored with his first touch from the 18 yard line low past the keeper.
Then a mistake from Macgillivray as he attempted to scoop the ball clear, a fresh air shot with his left foot ensued and 5-10 seconds later the ball was in the back of the net.
A good opening day win and thoughts now move to next weeks fixture with Drumnadrochit Hotel
