Kirkhill 1-2 Caley s.c

Kirkhill lost this match after taking the lead in the 1st half through a Steven Maclean strike at the back post after some good play down the left and a great deep cross from Terry Macallister. Caley equalised when they found the net from 20 yards out through a good strike that was just out of the keepers reach.

What followed for the rest of the 60 minutes remaining was quite frankly baffling as well as shocking. With some incredible decisions from the referee that stevie wonder could of seen better. Quite frankly their was too many incidents to mention, with penalties not given amongst other things. Somewhere in between all these decisions Caley scored as a result of a defensive mistake.

With ten minutes remaining Kirkhill were reduced to 10 men as a result of fighting. And possibly the most baffling moment came as the referee shows the opposition player a yellow card for fighting.

With time running out Kirkhill were somehow handed a penalty by this referee for hand ball which was a correct decision. Mark Mcginty stepped up but his kick struck the crossbar and bounced safe.
