On saturday night the Gala Princesses and Queen  for 2009 were chosen.  At the primary disco the kids enjoyed the bouncy castle and tuck shop and dancng along to James and Denises cheesy tunes. The princesses were chosen from a hat to make it totally impartial and fair.  The P1-3 Princess is Chelsea Eastcroft and the P4-7 Princess in Chloe Clark.   At the Queen disco Jamie and James provided the tunes for everyone.   There was also a raffle with some great prizes which meant that tickets were quickly snapped up and this proved to be a good fundraiser.  This years Queen was chosen by Anne and Barry who are relatively new to the village and they chose S4 pupil Tamara Laing as the Queen for 2009 and she enjoyed her first dance as Queen with James to Abbas Dancing Queen!  Both discos proved to be a success and around £250 was made to boost the funds for the Gala Day.
