Mill Rythe 2013 Charity News
The recent summer festival organised by Tony Stace & Andrew Nix at Mill Rythe Holiday Park , Hayling Island was, once again, a massive success. Topnote Events certainly pleased their many guests with their production skills and, of course, a superb line up of top organ and keyboard stars.
At their events in York and Hayling Island, the lads always encourage fund raising for charity and this year at Mill Rythe was very personal to Andrew. MAGNOLIA CANCER CARE CENTRE, YORK will benefit this time as they provided much needed support for his sister, Cheryl, who sadly died in March 2013 after a two year battle with cancer, aged 52. Fundraising events organised by Andrews nieces and family recently raised around £2500. At Mill Rythe - Tony's sons, Charlie and Matthew, did an excellent job with a raffle and at Andrew & Tony's "Songs of Praise" a collection was made. The total amount raised was a staggering £775.
Andrew and his family are really overwhelmed by the kind generosity shown and will all be proud to hand over these funds to the centre on August 8th 2013 - which would have been Cheryl's birthday. Many thanks to everyone!
