After Ian Griffin's award at the Lake Windermere boat rally in August 2012 for the best British Classic Motor Boat,  he went on to the Cardiff classic boat rally where his picture was captured on the front page of the weekend supplement of the South Wales Echo.

The Lake Windermere tophy will be added to the many he has been awarded in his keyboard playing career.

When he is not playing in public he spends time doing development work for two of the world's leading keyboard manufacturers.  At his shows  he uses keyboards in an organ configuration with bass pedals, to produce the most realistic and outstanding sound that it is possible to hear from modern keyboard instruments.
